“The summer is approaching like a title wave on a beach. It looks slow when you’re up close, but as you watch from the shore it moves so quickly. These last few days have felt so long. Sometimes I think I’m so ready to grow up I miss out on just being a kid. I’m ready to be done with freshman year. I’m ready to start a new chapter!”
“AP World History has quite literally changed my life. I think I have grown academically and intellectually, as well as a person. I’ve learned we can find strength in weakness. I’ve learned that sometimes you have to fail to succeed. I’ve learned that generally tomorrow will be better than today. I’ve found that good friends make all the difference.”
“Sometimes it can feel like your just swimming in the wrong direction. Like if you’d only just turn around you’d find a way through. But sometimes you turn and the path is invisible. Covered with obstacles. But if we don’t turn, how will we get where we are going. Turn around before its too late.”
“I am so ready for summer. I love the sun and its warmth. I love softball season and tennis. I love getting to spend time with my grandparents and family. Most of all though I love the beach. The water, the salt in the air, and the smile it brings to your face.”
“I am so ready for my summer beach trip. My family will all get to come together. I love seafood. I love the water and the sun. Fishing is a nice bonus. The beach is my happy place.”
“My first semester was like a dream. I didn’t realize how quickly my immense free time could disappear. Life was so much simpler just three days ago. My saving grace is this class. I got to share classes with my best friends and had super cool and helpful teachers. Math was my favorite subject and allowed me to have a little bit of strenuous work, without brain overload. I miss last semester.”
